Welcome to Barkables!

Our story began with a very special pup - my beagle, Lexi. Lexi has always been a bundle of joy, but as a dog parent, I noticed that her sensitive stomach often struggled with the treats bought from stores. Like many other dog owners, I was cautious about what I fed her, avoiding anything with preservatives, additives, or unnatural ingredients that could be harmful to her health.

That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I started baking my own treats for Lexi, using only the best whole, organic ingredients - simple things like fresh fruits, wholesome vegetables, and other healthy, natural ingredients that I could trust. No synthetic preservatives. No artificial colours. Just pure, honest food that Lexi not only loved but thrived on. Over time, her health improved dramatically, and it was clear that these homemade goodies were making a difference.

As word spread, I began sharing these treats with friends and family who also had pets. Their dogs, like Lexi, loved them, and the difference was noticeable: shinier coats, more energy, and happy, wagging tails. What started as a personal project soon became a way to share the joy of genuine, nutritious dog treats with others who truly care about their pets' wellbeing.

At Barkables, we believe that our pets deserve the same level of love and care we show ourselves. We all know that many store-bought treats are filled with ingredients we can't even pronounce, meant to make them look colourful and last on shelves for months and sometimes years.
